A good budget gpu is the Evga 9800GT. It can run almost anygame maxed out. I think its only $120.

Nah, not really. (a year and a half ago I would have said yes) It would probably struggle doing light gaming. Only if you have a low res monitor would i recommend it. I'd say a GTS 250 would be absolute best price to performance other than the ATI 5770.

see heres the deal, just because you have the budget for the best components on the market doesn't mean thats the best price/performance.
if you just want the best computer you can build with your current budget then grab it up but if you're looking for best price/performance components then its best to search google and get a general professional census on that point

Is the exact opposite thing that Im saying...the thing is to care equally for the price and the performance ... There is a point where the perfomance that you gain for spent more money doesn't worth and it's just better get a less performance component but more adequate for your pocket...
