Eagle Eye Event - TONIGHT! 9PM EST

Due to popular demand, until the pistol mod is back up and running, we will be running the famous "Eagle Eye" event in its place.

For those who don't quite remember it: Eagle Eye is a Sniper-only event, and was historically on Strand. We will be running this on the Sniper server, however, to try and get it back up and populated (plus, it's full of sniper maps already!).

Maps for tonight: Likely Sharpshooter and Snow_Battlefield, but this may change if we'd rather run something else (I'll check out some of the other maps later on to test them myself, but suggestions of non-rotation maps on the server are welcome). NO SNOWBRIDGES!

I look forward to seeing you all in Ventrilo tonight beforehand, and then we will get things rolling at 9PM EST! This will be run Kalt Assault-style; we will not be passwording the server in the hopes of attracting more players if we can't fill it ourselves.

Bring your A-game and your favorite scope, and we'll see you there!

i may not be able to make this event due to my high school orchestra is having a concert but ill try to make it
 
Of course you would have this event while my computer is dead. It never Kirkin' fails.

P.S. Can someone water my tree while I'm gone :P
 
As long as RL does not come into play; I will be there.

HOW DARE YOU! And you thought Scotty beamed you up before; when I get back, I'm going to make sure that you spend so much time in the re-spawn, that you think you live there :cursing:

just a suggestion for next time, 4 towers=horrible map, or any map with massive spawn camping for that matter...

fun fun fun.. :D had 3 people dominated until like 1 minute before the event ended. =/ but yeah loads of fun.

honestly, I hated it as much as you normally... However, its not meant to be a sniper map, more mele/pistol with sniping as secondary...

Once you get good at close quarters combat then you don't have to worry about it..However, it could have been less of a problem (with points) if it was held on the events server...

Either way, I had a blast!
