I've done many stupid things, but this could possibly be the stupidest thing I have done thus far. I have purchased a set of Hyperglide teflon mouse feet for my Razer Deathadder (I got a new one, but I need these mouse feet in the future). It all went well. However..

I..chose the wrong address for the transaction. I've sent an email to Hyperglide's sale contact. I should get an email within 24 hours, as I did sent the email recently. After realizing my mistake, I removed the address (I have NO idea how it got there in the first place, but the shipping address or "home" was 25 KuNai's street ("KuNai street" to hide my real address, but the house number is real).

So I then immediately removed that address after making a new primary shipping address, which is 19 KuNai's Street (19 is the real house number).

Is there any way I can get myself out of this predicament? I am so frustrated..:facewall:

EDIT: There is no other forum category this would go under, but I feel this is the best I could put it under.

If they receive the email before they ship it the it will be fine, if they don't well you should ask them to recall the package if they can, or if they give you a tracking number call FEDEX or UPS or whoever and ask them to change the address. I'm afraid changing your paypal email will do nothing however, since as soon as you make the transaction it sends whatever address you have at that time to the seller or merchant.

Hope it works out!

Thank you Oprah. I made the transaction today, but the money won't go through until the 24th. I hope they read my email and change the shipping address. If they can't do anything about it, how do I recall the package?

You can file with PayPal that your ordered package never came.

But before that, make sure the seller HAS ALREADY shipped the package to the faulty address and there's NO WAY for it to be recalled.

Well first I would ask them ( the merchant) if they can recall it for you since they are the ones shipping it. If they can't or wont they should give you some kind of tracking number or confirmation number, call the shipping company fed-ex,UPS,DHL,USPS, etc. and ask them to change the address they will probably ask you some questions about it and change it. Depending on how far the address you gave them was off (e.g. a couple blocks, a city, a state) they may charge you. If it is within the same city they may just change it for free. Also filing with paypal is something I really wouldn't do, all they will do is cause problems for you and the seller, but mostly the seller or merchant and seeing how you did not buy it from ebay and you bought it from a merchant( a online store) they may not even offer the buyer protection, try to solve it your self before starting a stink with paypal, as a seller on ebay I really wish people would contact me before making a claim with paypal.

Alright, thanks you guys. I'm going to wait a max of 24 hours, to see if they respond. Hopefully, they change the shipping address from there without any further problems.

LOL

I did the same thing a few years ago. I forgot (at the time) i was using my parents address to ship things to (same city). My mom is always home, where as I work..

A few years ago, they moved and I forgot all about the fact I was using their address...

I ordered something..and waited...and waited..and it never showed up at my house.

Luckily, it was sent back to the merchant. I had to pay shipping fees again (which is understandable).
