i am interested in what MMORPG's you people play if any, unless you only play world of warcraft in which case don't bother posting here please. (not interested in WoW even though i did play it for along time)

I have played many MMORPG's, so many i cant remember all of them but here goes:
Tabula Rasa (beta)
Ragnarok Online
Ragnarok 2 Online (will be playing this soonish)
Granada Esparda (aka Sword of the new world.. i think B) )
Wurm Online
Lineage
Mu Online
Runescape
Pirates Of The Caribbean Online
Pirates of the Burning Sea (currently play beta)
Eve Online (actively playing)
Trickster (one of many asian games i played, its random)
Dynasty Warriors Online (will be playing this soonish)
Yu-Gi-Oh Online (kind of an RPG :p )

also i am not saying i liked these games, in fact some where really bad... just wanting to know what you have played and maybe chat about them a little (just not about WoW).

Not playing any now, but I am waiting for Warhammer to release. BTW, I'm friends with a graphics guy who works for Pirates of the Burning Sea. I got into the beta through him, but I can't say I would actually play it. I don't dig the whole ship thing. But that's just me=)

The only MMORPG I'm playing is Guild Wars...and i ususally just play if my sister's playing too. And I'm in the same boat as LuckyShot...waiting for Warhammer.

The MMORPG's I've played are:
Asheron's Call (first MMO LuckyShot got me addicted to)
Asheron's Call 2
EQ
EQII (spent 2 years playing)
Star Wars Galaxies
Dark Ages of Camelot
WoW (hehe...wasted time)
Vanguard
Lord of the Rings

I guess I'm still waiting for a MMORPG that's worth paying the $15 a month. So I'll stick to DoD. =)

haha well i am not playing all of those games, but have done at one point and most of them i wont go back to.

Yeah i am looking forward to Warhammer like a lot of others, i am hoping it kills blizzard ;)

@+LadyLuck+
o yeah i have played Guild wars as well, its a pretty good game because there is no pay to play ;)

Frist i want to say LUCKY I wanted to get into beta for Tabula Rasa

Fly For Fun (FlyFF for short)[Active on it]
Maplestory [Semi Active on it]
Runescape [Yeah um.........]
Eve Online [Free Trail didn't like it much]
GuildWars [Got bord w/ it quickly]
Ragnarok Online [Free severs and the Free trail]
Star Wars Galaxies [Free Trail]
World of Warcarft [Epiced out yo? And theirs NO TRUCKS IN WOW]
Gun Bound [not sure if it really counts :P]
2moons [Kicks butt Alot of butt it has so many bugs] Q.q
and like 5 other random ones that i forget their names but where okay...

*Note to Self*
Never spend time looking for random games to play over the summer just send it on WoW or Help your Good old boys in eGO, on the Battle Field. ^.^

I'm really suprised you guys havn't tried out knight online! I used to play it and it's great, you get 3 days free, and then you can play for free but not at peek hours, or buy membership. It's a mix of all these games and is highly recommended.

In my time I have played

Asheron's Call
WoW
CoH

I don't play them anymore, though.

Whats made me stay away from MMORPG's is the fact that most have a monthly fee attached to them, and being a cheap ass I would rather just play some FPS online for free.

I agree with Chemically Independent. I would much rather get an FPS that I can pay 20 bucks up front for, and not have to pay a monthly bill. Also, I love the feeling in FPS games that there could be someone right around the corner, and that thers always a fight. I just like action, and MMORPG's have turned all my friends into zombies....

there are a lot of MMORPG's that are free if you play on a private server... but i don't mind paying a monthly fee for a good game, hell it cost more (in Australia) to have payTV and its really crap.

besides i get into a lot of betas so get to play them for free and know if they are worth the cost before hand ;)

there are some really good FPS games out there to, one that comes to mind is Gunz Online (you level up in it still)

Best MMORPG i have played to date is Eve Online... its very big, has lots to do and has a big learning curve, but the best part is not many little kids play it so a lot of mature gamers in it (still has its share, just no where near as much)

I've played silkroad, which is free. I also pay for Starwars Galaxies. Its a pretty fun game if your willin to put up with all the crap and the 15 bucks a momth

tommy pays $15 dollars for 30days access to an MMORPG, tommy plays for 4hrs a day for 25 days. how much money does tommy pay per hour? 15cents
(rofl... remember these annoying questions in year 3?)
how much does it cost you to go for a day trip? $30 - $50 dollars
how much does it cost you to goto a movie for 2-3 hrs? $10 - $15 dollars
(costs are based on where i live)

my current circumstances i could log around 8 hrs most days (not that i do) so there is no cheaper way to entertain myself then paying for an MMO ;) (no sick jokes please, lol)

only problem i have is a lot of MMO's are not worth paying for cause they are crap

I would highly recommend you guys stay away from MMORPGS, but I don't think anyone will get the message till they actually start having problems hehe. I think the term Zombies for what it does to people is an understatement.

yes a lot of MMORPG's were you have to "grind levels" are a sink hole when it comes to time, but not all MMORPG's are like that. Eve Online is perfect for me because i sleep a lot and don't have energy to grind levels for 4-8hrs, with Eve i click a skill and it will learn it over time even if i am offline (some skills can take months to learn). hehe the only reason i log in is to chat to friends, make some money and have fun !amazed

if you cant play games in moderation then i don't think it really matter what you play, as for MMORPG's i never had a problem doing things while playing them (be it work or social)
