Thing is, if we aren't using it anymore, it means that we already used it. L4D2 would be put down into our steam account by force, since it's by Valve. That means that we'd have to sell our steam account(which is against the terms)

He's asking for a used version, and the boxed version also requires a CD key.

And after you activate the boxed version it still ties it to your steam account which means you'd have to sell the steam account, while this is 1. against the terms, there is also the fact that I have a ton of other games on my steam account (and most other people do too) and I wouldn't want to get rid of those games.

Unless you installed it without your internet connection which makes you play offline and it wouldnt to put into your steam account..
