Timing Out in CS:S

For some reason today, I'm timing out every ten minutes. It isn't my connection. Is there something going on with the servers because this just started today.

Hm, that's odd; this is also happening to alot of people in TF2. Just started happening to me (and I think everyone else) today.

Well when the client times out it can be the server is updating its protocol on the servers, and or bad server bandwidth, or just a lot of lag over the complete servers, because it was happening to me and i was like 15-0 in office, and "Client timed out" and I was like NOOO, but ahh well.

I couldn't idle Inferno last night because it was timing out all day

Thought it was my connection though.

I believe steam was doing some maintenance just like xsimon said.
