DOD:s Tournament?

i was thinking, wouldnt it be fun to have an elimination style tournament.
Teams of 8, all eGO members allowed etc.

anyway this is just a thought, so i dont blame anyone for dismissing it

we've tried this literally a dozen times. Rule #1 seems to be: don't bring this up on the general forums, hit up the drop box or go straight to the decision makers. Fair warning, ever since the house dissolution leadership doesn't seem too keen on the idea of forming intra-clan teams and competing against each other.

fair enough ron, it is in the drop box. also i wasn't here when there was houses so i wasn't aware of this, but like i said its just an idea.

anyway even with that said, i hardly think a one-off tournament is going to cause a split in the community

if a tournament causes a split between the clan, then those people who feel so strongly about their team shouldnt have a part of the tourny then. and these teams shouldn't be permanent. if we do more than one tourney it should be a rule that you cant have more than 30 or 40% of the same members on your team.

its all for fun so if someone is going to get worked up because the won/lost the tourny they need to get a life....

sorry it just makes me angry that some people get so worked up over the stupid stuff.
