Right.. so I decided that instead of just having an engineer in my comment for a sig, I wanted to combine all or some of the classes into one rotating signature. In this case i used my four most recently played classes (soldier, spy, engi, medic) and added an ending page with their faces and my name on it. But something isnt right.. (as may be obvious to some)

All of the images received a lot of noise and do not look anywhere near as good.

That is how the Spy sig looks before being added to the animated class so for reference. Anyways I was curious to find out if there is any way to counter this issue or not. All of the images used in the animation were in .jpg form and I used http://googleumedia.webair.com/ to add them together.

P.S. I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct/best location for this post, so if there is a better spot for this, can someone move it to there? :P Thanks

The problem if that GIF pictures loose a lot of colors due that was originally a format used for webs in a small size... but loosing a lot of the quallity

so would using .gifs instead of .jpgs to begin with, or making them smaller work?

I suggest not using websites to compile/convert your images into a gif

GIMP is free and can do animation quite nicely and I'm sure that there are other programs out there you could use. I think the loss in quality is NOT down to the gif format itself but the websites themselves...

O.o I have gimp and photoshop and didnt know gimp could do animations. Also, I downloaded some free animator thing (was called like easy animate or something) and the quality was just as bad after saving out the file.:(

Photoshop and GIMP are perfectly fine with animating, and it's WAAAAAYYY easy to do it. Just need to know how. And you can learn that in like 5 seconds lol.
