It might be helpful to know the program. Is it Word 2007? 2010 Beta? What is it?

My dad is working on a document for business. He just alerted me to a weird issue where every letter that comes out is capitalized, no matter if caps lock is on or not. I tried Notepad out & no issue there. I figured try closing the program out, but no dice. My dad said hes tried restarting his netbook, but same result. Any ideas?

what font are you using? Can you try a usb keyboard instead? what happens when you press the shift key and type a letter? Is it lower case? In that case you may have the keyboard configured like a typewriter - with capslock toggled on and the shift key de-toggles it.

Guys, please read my original post. The issue has been resolved.

testy testy, I was already writing my post when you made the changes, otherwise how would I have known what to type since you had edited the original post?

sorry, but the whole issue was resolved over 10-15 mins ago & u posted anyways. its always best to read the post about the topic thread. thats the reason why i got a lil testy.

He did read it...while he was typing and replying you edited it and changed . Which is how your original post came up in the quote...its not his fault he was just trying to help. The Edgegamers website is not like facebook it does not update in real time which is why you have to refresh to see changes.

thanks for pointing out the quoted text, no way I could have seen that after the edit but my apologies anyways, and it was 6 minutes after you posted :P
