S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky

So I just got STALKER: Clear Sky, after playing through Shadow of Chernobyl, and I really enjoi it. I just have one problem:

IT'S HARD.

It's a lot harder than SoC, and I'm having trouble even on the lower difficulties. If anyone out there is just some amazing, seasoned Stalker, us mortals would appreciate some advice. Or you could just make some random comment about the game. That's the great thing about forums!

Yeah. That is one seemingly world wide problem. when I first got it I got PWNT by a pack of 6 or so dogs. They seem to have tweaked the difficulty in Call of Pripyat though, so if you don't have that yet you can look forward to that at least.. =/

I got owned by like 8 dogs and a whole buncha those little rat things the other day..it was nuts

The damn rats are the worst when they combine with the dogs or those tiger cat things.. The starting Armor does you no justice and in the begging of the game i usually just ended up running away until i collected myself better equipment lol

I haven't met many dogs yet. I met a few packs in Cordon and they seriously screwed up one of my quests, but they haven't managed to lay a claw on me yet. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop in the form of a bloodsucker. Every time I met one in SoC I had to stop playing cause I would get a terrible case of the jitters.

i have to admit ive cheated a lot with clear sky. ive changed to weight and have a bunch of mods so its easy for me. i just like running around slaughtering npc's and doing side missions tho so its more about the free play fun then completing the game. having a few fully upgraded suits and all the weapons fully upgraded is dam fun!
