i think its funny because this was made in 08 and now pc prices are about the same as consoles no i dont have a console anymore i sold it to improve my pc because i knew i would get more playability out of it and my wife wouldn't let me get another tv god forbid i want to play cod4 when grey's is on lol

sorry but i think it fully depends on the game you're playing.

i DESPISE playing racing games on PC since i do not have a decent PC gamepad, and from my past experiences they don't really make good ones (im sure thats changed by now). i'd really like if the steering could be configured to the mouse (kinda like borderlands) but you can never do that.

i hate playing FPS games on a console and i will never understand how ppl can prefer or think its better than on pc

These videos are very annoying. You really cant compare a console to a PC, it is a completely different type of gaming. Consoles are meant to be played on large tv's with a controller. Pc's are meant to be played on a smaller monitor, usually under 30". Yes PC does have better graphics because of the more powerful part in computers, but if you were playing COD4 on a 20" monitor at high settings compared to playing it on a PS3 or an Xbox 360 on a 50"+ monitor you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, the one played on the large tv would probably even look better. Also now it is alot cheaper to play games on a console, a PS3 can run Battlefield Bad Company 2 at whatever settings it runs at fine and it is $300 now. A PC that can run that game and keep it at a constant playable FPS like consoles would cost $500 or more, without a monitor. Im not picking sides and saying either one is better because i own a gaming PC a PS3, and an Xbox 360. All I am saying is that you cant compare PC to console their two different styles of gaming that play the same games. If your going to compare something, compare PS3 to Xbox 360, because they are both consoles.

I think anybody who claims that one console is better than another (including PC) is foolish. Everybody has different likes and dislikes, and all consoles have different pros/cons and ways they can be used.

Your way is not the only way; get used to that.

Exactly.

I'm not a fan of controllers at all but, PS3 and 360 are amazing consoles.

PC does offer more I will say that, but at a much higher price.

Racing and sports games just aren't the same on PC. Additionally, the JRPG market isn't quite as robust on the PC. Small gripes, I know. 90% of my games are on PC, but there's just no point in even trying to put Virtua Tennis 2009 on anything but a console.

Sure you could, but it wouldn't be the instant pick up and play fun that a console offers.

Gaming is a hobby, just make sure you have the right equipment for whatever part of the hobby you're engaging in today. Bass fishing and fly fishing both require different rods.

I still like my console....its good when I just want to play my game with no hassle just turn it on and play it. If I want to play a game I don't have I rent it, can't do that with a pc.

I myself prefer my pc, I have a ps2 (it's a great dvd player) I just don't see a reason to buy a console to play the same games my gaming comp plays.

I totally agree with that video. The only disadvantage of computer parts is that you have to build thim yourself(otherwise it takes weeks till the shop done it) and then there is a change you ***** your computer, if you know what i mean For example kill your motherboard, and then nothing works anymore. Thats were i'm afraid of when i build a computer.

Consoles are better at these things
* Hardware consistency (not having to upgrade all the time)
* Racing games
* Third Person games
* 3d platformers
* Ease of use

Pcs are better at just about everything else.

Heres one thing though. That I love about console games. On PC not everyone is on equal terms. Like people (such as myself) Could be running off a PC from 2001. While mr. 45 kills no deaths has a brand new Alienware or something. On console everyone has the same speed on the processors and the same graphics and controllers. Not to mention the fact that with a PC it's only fun if you have a goodPC if you don't you can't play the heavier games.
