I have no idea where to find my CD Key.... I feel kind of dumb, but I need the help. So if anyone can help me then that would be great. :)

from a game , 2 possible place , 1- inside the box , 2 - on the manual book on first or last page.

Then no CD key required it should automatically have the CD embedded within it self. if not you can always create a support ticket on steam if you have bought a steam product.

Well I lost my account and couldn't find the CD Key to put on the ticket. And it doesnt say anywhere "View CD Key" so I am really confused.

it is referring to the cd keys to any steam games that you bought retail. if you bought all of your steam games directly from the steam store you wont have any but im sure if you talked with valve you might be able to prove you bought the game on the account by confirming the credit card # or confirming the paypal account that was used to buy the game in the account with. if you can somehow prove that you paid for the content on the account you should be able to get it back.

well that sux, cuz my parents changed there debit cards about 6 months ago and thats what we used so i guess i wont be getting it back...

I did the same thing once with a debit card / bank account that I closed 2 years ago and my account was stolen from me, so I contacted steam and they gave me a list of stuff I can do in order to get my steam account back.

What you need to do is get your parents to call there back and request a transaction report for the time you think the purchase was made, banks keep 5 years worth of transaction history, and send this information. (Highlighted in blue)

Immediately Contact Steam Support about the lost account
