Changing computers

Hey guys,

I am changing computers and going through everything I need to transfer over. However, I noticed I have no idea where my halflife 2 and TF2 cd's are. I am assuming it won't be as easy as downloading steam on my new computer and downloading the games through my account?

no it is that easy just install steam and login and you can DL them from there the orginal cd's arent need at all.

You can copy your entire steam folder so you dont lose anything

Awesome part about Steam. Any games you have installed, you will always own with or without the CD.

The only down side to this is that you can't rip the games out of accounts.
