So last weekend I installed Windows 7 64-Bit on my computer from the Release candidate. Everything was fine, install was easy, and everything was great. But a couple of days later, stuff started to act up. First it was Mozilla Firefox. It would freeze randomly and always freeze whenever I tried to watch a Youtube video. Same for Google chrome. So now I am stuck with using crappy IE.

Then(and this made me wanna :facewall: all day) my computer started to think that my Turtle Beach X1's that I plug into my laptop to power them for my Xbox 360 was actual headphones that played sound from my laptop into them, even though they can't. So I would have to uninstall the Turtle Beach and my Headphone driver, restart my computer, and reinstall the drivers for my headphones. And now that works less and less.

And now whenever I right click my volume in my task bar and select anything, even the volume lever itself, it freezes and I gotta restart my computer to make it work.

Last but not least, to add onto this, Spyware Doctor just detected 8 Backdoor Trojans, 64 Trojan Generic, 1 Trojan Pidief, a Net-Worm Randex, and a Crap load of other viruses. And I just did a frigging clean install of Windows 7 like less than a Week ago that I gotta deal with.

And yes, I am waiting for my Dad to come home from his trip to activate my Spyware Doctor. So no need to provide a link to the Spyware Removal thread.

Please help :(

Not really a whole lot to help with here. Your thread says everything you need to know really. You're infected with an ungodly amount of malware and virus's. Get a good antivirus and use spyware doctor to get rid of the rest.
 
well u have the wierdest case the x1 headphone i have em and they never install a thing the usb cord is only for power and also if u have a lcd tv check since alot of these new tvs have a usb port .....the spyware doctor i would get rid of it asap and just installing an avg free or something like that those programs always bring u spyware and junk like that so dont fool ur self on that one and just delete it
 
if youre looking to get rid off viruses the best bet is going to be ESET NOD32 combined with spybot search and destroy. ive also heard great things about bitdefender but have no personal experience with that software.

my personal combination is NOD32, spybot S&D, superantispyware(free), and windows defender. Never had a virus gone undetected.

also, what the heck is spyware doctor? never heard of that before, sounds like malware in itself lol.

Did you update all of your drivers after doing the install? And are you sure you did a clean install? I tried doing a clean install but it didn't work and everything was saved in this random folder called Windows Old or something... Even Vista was saved in it? It was weird.
 
I just got windows 7 too man but no problems with mine

Spyware Doctor, from what I've heard, is actually a very good program. It's commonly quoted in malware removal instructions as a way to identify the type of malware you have, or to remove it if you want to pay for the full service. I've never used it personally since I have no need, but I've heard good things.
