A clan called eGO

I suppose I want to right a wrong here. Initially I felt a wrong was done against myself.

Initially I felt a wrong was commited against myself about a year ago. From my side (the facts that I knew) yes my punishment(complete ban across the board) was a bit harsh. Now that I was apprised of the entire situation, I can see where the 'offenders' were coming from. I was a victim of circumstance.

The History

As a returning DoD player I was looking for a clan, I had great ping to all of the eGO servers and found myself enjoying the eGO community. While I myself don't take offense to ANYTHING, I fervently respect the fact/RIGHT that others do not share my feelings, and I enjoyed the 'family' aspect that is promoted in any and all of eGO's servers. I viewed the website and really enjoyed the idea of the structure that had been established within eGO. I joined and fell in love with all things eGO.

Unfortunately, I had a disagreement with an individual at an inoportune time. I was literally in an eGO meeting (my first, all excited and ready to try to prove myself) and suddenly BAM I'm banned across the board, servers, vent, website. At first I can't understand what has happened, then some eGO steam friends tell me what has gone on. I am shocked yet left with no way to do anything short of going crazy, posting absurd things and being 'that guy'.

1 Year Later

eGO lifts all bans.

-I play the eGO servers again. I don't mention anything about my previousexperience with eGO. I see again why I previously enjoyed the servers/atmosphere.
-I start playing BF:BC2 beta and find a new group of friends/clan to play with.
-I decide I am done with DoD and don't care if I get rebanned from eGO.
-I behave quite childishly and join eGO vent and 'comment' rude, insulting things to specific (high up) eGO members (expectig to be immediately banned again) and when they ban me I will laugh and not care.
-I get transferred into a vent channel with more eGO 'CEOs' than I deserve acknowledgement from.
-I am momentarily stunned.
-I am momentarily stunned..still...

I was suppossed to be banned (in my mind), yet now I have a group of eGO elite that, in my mind, I can not imagine would waste their time with a 'flamer'.

Well, to cut off an already long story, these several (I wouldn't believe how many if I wasn't there) eGO elite members devoted over 15 minutes worth of time to me, heard my story, explained the other side of the issue (from a year ago, which I did not know), appologized to me for what had happened, cleared a couple remaining website ban issues (IMMEDIATELY, CAPS doesn't describe how fast) and invited me back in to eGO.

At this point I am speechless. I am committed to the clan I have joined, however, eGO has soared to a new heigth in my mind. Much higher than the initial interst/good will I held for them.

eGO is a clan that is ridiculously devoted to its membership. The leadership of eGO is above reproach in my estimation. They have treated me BEYOND fairly, and better than I deserved lately.

I am sorry for any rudeness/ ill will I focused in eGO's direction.
I hope that I managed to explain the level of class and dedication that eGO demonstrates on a daily basis.

He said it was for argueing with another member during a meeting. The specifics arnt nessasary and whats happened in the past is history and you should not think about it and move on.

Welcome back. That was a very good read. A lot of people try to rip on eGO when ever they get the chance, but what they don't realize is that eGO is trying to create the best and most secure gaming environment in any game, and right now leadership is doing one hell of a good job at it
