So since friday when playing eve online after 15-30 minutes of playing my computer will crash and restart.

I'm pretty sure it's not over heating as the game runs at the temperature all my others do. It's not a memory issue since i'm only using about 1.4 gigs out of 4, but just to be sure ive closed all un needed items such as firefox, itunes, etc but it still happens. Have also tried running the game in both windowed mode and full screen with no luck.

Specs -

Windows 7 64bit
4 gig gam
ATI Radeon 4800
Intel Core i5 750 @ 2.67 ghz.

Thanks.

Also there is no specific error message when the computer turns on again, just windows did not shut down correctly.

Did you do anything different/unusual on Friday? Download something? Game update?

No haven't changed anything with the game it self. No downloads. And the only windows updates the past few days are definition updates for microsoft security essentials.

Just to be sure, there's no BSoD? No 0xc000001111 etc message?

In order for something to restart out of the blue, something that's using it has to be at fault.
Since it's 15-30 minutes INTO your game, I'd take a look at your graphics card and/or support updates specifically between EVE Online and Windows 7.

May you give details about your video card and driver version?
Also, is it on-board or off-board?

Well it's ATI radeon HD 4800 series, driver version 8.661.0.0 and supposedly up to date. And when you say on-board or off-board do you mean graphics card built into the mother board? If so then it would off board (computer hardware nub :( )

Also just a little more information about the game I figured out that i'm able to sit docked in a station for hours and even run multiple clients, however it seems to be that once I undock and actually do something that my computer crashes.

CCC(Catalyst Control Center) induces random computer restarts when it doesn't agree with a program.

I had the same problem and since I don't use it, I turned it off.
For quicker response time, may you add me to steam?

EDIT: I've added you.
But also make sure your gaming software/installer software IS for 64bit and not 32bit.

Many programs that are 32bit work on 64bit's, but there's always that one little..Butthead, to put it PG-13.

To receive the BSoD he needs to disable the "Automatically Restart" option when it comes to system failures. I'm not sure where exactly it is located in Windows 7 but should be similar to Vista which is:
Right Click 'My Computer' -> Properties
Click 'Advanced System Settings'
Advanced Tab -> Settings under "Startup and Recovery"
Uncheck 'Automatically Restart'

The next time it's going to auto reboot you should get a BSoD instead which then should give us more information as to whats causing the issue. Record the error code and the file it references.

I'm assuming you're talking about a Laptop then since you mention docking? If so when you undock are you running off Battery power only?

If so most likely would be a power issue given the above.
