DOD:S New Achievement

To go on what SOUPY:glare: said I think we should do a new achievement for DOD:S.
GOLD SILVER AND BRONZE medals for most kills on the eGO DOD servers and it doesn't matter how long u been playing on the servers either.
What u guys and gals think?

Yes sounds cool. But instead of achievments, making Awards from it would be even cooler
But not a Award for always, becaus if somebody else gets more kills then you the award swaps to him

Or a "killer of the month award" the person with the most kills of the month gets the award

Would be cool to include those as well (really want a smoke grenade kill now)

I have an idea, if your willing to go through with this, ill do the math and post the numbers.

Hlx Stats tracks all of the weapon kills on a weekly basis. Since it is updated live that means that if you were to track the kills on a monthly basis. At the end of each week at say midnight someone could go on hlx stats and write down all the numbers. Then after another week, when the new numbers are collected, you write down the next set. Until after a total of 28 days. You can post the total numbers and list the winners. Then for the next 2-3 days you can have some bragging rights until the first of the new month. Thus restarting the entire cycle.

I think it would give the more hardcore players a chance to truly test their mettle. But like i said up there, i would be more than happy to do the work.

Plus on a side note, you could also track who has the most kills on a map over the month, and also see who gets the most kills overall.

Could probably write a little script that just looks at the page and stores the kills in a database (or text file) just set it to be run at the correct time per week.

All it takes it whacking them in the face/body with one when they are at 1hp and trying to bandage. I think it does 2 hp damage if you hit someone (like a thrown grenade). Rifle 'nades do 4 hp damage if you actually shoot someone with one ...
