Check-Machine-Exception error message

Just when I got my system fixed from the,"blue screen of death," I got a new hard drive problem solved. Now I'm getting another error message citing check machine exception and my audio is out along with blue screen again. Suggestions? I'm thinking audio card is out?

Is it a card or onboard?

If it is a card, try to disable it and use the onboard to see if the problems go away.

Forgot to mention, overclocking or overheating can often cause this message.

Thank you shadows, its a card and my system is not overclocked. I will try shifting to the onboard to see what that does, I appreciate your input, "Thank you!"

Just be sure to take the card out. If it's PCI (or PCIe, but you have more than 1 slot), try another slot if you get good results from the onboard.
