Tf2 i lagg how do i fix it ?

Rule out server and network problems. If you're the only one on the server with lag AND your ping is low, your computer is to blame. You can try some of the steps in this thread, but back up your game files before you do so.

What kind of lag are you experiencing? We cannot really help without knowing the specific kind of lag, and sorry to say that this is the wrong section of the forum for this.

Maby download CCleaner and run that, might help too So many things might help becaus many things can cause the lagg.

System specs would help greatly, download FRAPS if u dont already have it and record a demo of your frames , or just take quick notes of lows and highs .

FRAPS would probably just make lag so bad you wouldn't be able to tell what's going on. Try dialing down on the graphics settings and see if it makes any improvement. The biggest differences are in screen size and texture settings. Also, I know there's a way to change your rates so that it allows for more/less information to be transmitted. I don't remember how to off the top of my head though.

I have same problems with CoD4.I don't think the server has problem but if you are from Europe you will get high Ping because the servers are in the USA.It's also a matter of which ISP you use.

I found that my game slowed down a bit when I had too many skins installed. If you have loads of addons like skins, scripts etc you should delete a few and you should find it makes a fair bit of difference. If you don't have any skins installed, listen to the people above me.

First off i love your avatar since im from Pittsburgh and am awesome because of it. Anyway your lag could be a issue with your computer running too hot and thus slowing down. It could also be your network load isnt reporting data back to you fast enough and is causing your game to chug. All of this can be fixed by doing a speed test to our server locations and cleaning out your computer. If it is none of these things i suggest turning down the graphics and taking off anything that is extra (Skins etc).
