How to increase your FOV

The default FOV is 55. If you want a higher FOV this is what you do.

Go to your Documents folder and find the BFBC2 folder. Enter it, and there is a file named settings.ini.

After opening it (Notepad should open the file) locate FOV=. It should be directly at the bottom of the text. The higher the FOV, the more you can see in front of you.

How can I calculate the right FOV for me?

I use 80 on COD4, but it seems too much for this game. Using 65 now and it seems good.

because i can play the game fine and don't want to download no extra mambo jumbo if its not needed but if im missing something that's is really needed I want it!

field of view, its so you can fit a lot more on your screen

I agree that this should be stickied. Haven't tried my new settings but being able to see a bit more will definitely improve my gameplay. (less chance of missing that someone charging to knife you)
