Just Cause 2 Demo Crashing?

I need some help, I downloaded the demo off of steam and every time I run the demo it opens and the comes up with "Just Cause 2 Demo has stopped working"
The reason for this is a APPCRASH. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would love to play this game.

Google's solutions so far are either:
1) Update/Install Microsoft.net Framework, most recent build.
2) Update/Install DirectX.
3) Update video card driver.
4) Have at least the M$ Visual C++ SP1 library.
5) Apparently, if you have a Nvidia Video card, you need to have something called the "PhysX" driver.

I'll keep researching..

Updated my drivers, I do have a Nvidia card and the update details show this:
Upgrades PhysX System Software to version 9.09.1112
