Anyone know a way to drop down maybe system usage while BFBC2 is running? I did the "Can you run BFBC2" and I just barely failed and my graphics card did pass but it still lags SO MUCH!

I didn't fiddle with the settings yet to see if I could turn down something to make it less lag. I can't even play the first level of campaign because its lags so much to move and multiplayer I tried but I aimed down the scope of a sniper and it took forever to get back out.

Anyone help ? I know you're out there!

You loveable puppy,

Um... Have you tried going in to settings (in-game of course) and changing the video section from "High" to "Low" That basically helps out your graphics card if that's the problem. If it is RAM or processor... that wouldn't be too good...

Windows XP
Intel
Pentium(R) D CPU 2.66GHz
2.66 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM

(How do I check my Video card)

Knowing those specs, your video card can't be that much better. That processor does say on the can you run it site it passes because of the frequency. Sorry to say but you have one of the first dual cores, being the pentium D. It has no where near of the power of a regular dual core and will not run this game smoothly.

Core2Duo @ 2.00 ghz > a pentium D at 2.66..

Frequency isn't everything.

I'm not getting a new computer for a year or two ( or a new OS).. I just wasted $50 lol.

This game is heavy on the cpu. It pretty much maxes out my 3Ghz quad. Whenever you do build a new rig I would at the very least put a quad, but an i7 or i5 would be nice. You'd be surprised how cheaply you can put a great rig together these days, especially if you reuse your drives, case, software, etc.
