Help! #2

Well, yesterday, I was having fun playing the singleplayer 'cause the servers were down and whatnot, I managed to figure out that the white BS only happens during cut-scenes.

BUT NOW

Whenever I make that barrel explode (any barrel), the game immediately crashes to a white screen that would appear if you alt-tabbed, yet NOTHING has been changed (has it?) Yet I can hear in-game sounds

YES I have updated drivers
YES my comp meets the minimum req's
YES I have my settings on all minimum.

It might be a sound issue. I had the same type of problem with 2142. Do you have a sound card of some sort or just what your comp came with? If its what your comp came with, try getting a real cheapy sound card for like 15 bucks. That should do the trick. I think I am gonna get one just cause ive had a few sounds that give me some lag problems in game. Just my two cents though

You said its caused when you shoot a barrel. Battlefield games for some reason are like sound hungry. In 2142 when playing in titan mode at the end of the round my game would crash, I thought it was graphics and every other thing. Bought a sound card and never had a problem again. I am just giving you my input. Try it, don't try it. Just thought I would try..

but as it seems, it will randomly do this, but if I'm patient enough it will come out of the WSoD

I get the White Screen of Death as well.
