its a good start no lie just a couple pointers maby a bigger render and not so blurred a smaller name and more of a backdrop. what program you using? I do like what you did with the text, you can get better tips from celtic and others here but over all not a bad start

Alright man, that's a decent first signature! Now, here's what you should improve on:
- Size. I reccomend 390x140
- Effects. The renders kinda just slapped on :/
- Flow. Make the background flow with your image!
- Background. Add a little more too it
- C4d's. Learn how to use them

I love it! But for avatars, always start of with 12x125, this is so when the forums resize it, you wont lose the quality.You got any tips or tutorials?

Looks cool to me but I would
1) re size the soilder so that his feet aren't cut off in the pic and
2)I would also remove whatever kind of effect is on the solider because it just looks like a low resolution blur-ed image
3) I would make my name a lot bigger or keep it the same size and anchor it to top right
