Well, i didn't see that people are using so much items but I saw one scout with cheaters lament so I think it is preference

Most of the standard weapons are more powerful than the unlockable weapons. But, the soldier and demo unlocks are banned from competitive play.

Recently they allowed all new unlocks except buff banner and sandman.

I like how they showed good frags from both teams. Like col/blight when they were facing each other. Awesome frags from the both of them.
