Developper console

Hi
Just wondering if someone ever had that problem, I actually never got my console to open. I do know what key it is and i did activate it in options but it just wont show up!

I know, and i tried all other keys too
plugged in a new keyboard as well

Have you tried adding "-console" (without the quotes) to the launch options via steam?

Right Click -> Properties -> Set Launch Options
On the game in steam.

for source game go to options > keyboard tab > advanced > enable developer console


or right click the game in steam and go to launch options and add -dev

thanks master gunns, that worked the console opened when the game started
I still cant open and close it, but i guess if i leave it open it should do it

He's still having issues though, the European keyboard came to mind as well. However he did state he's tried different keys.

Though now that the console opens when you start the game type this in it

bind "F12" "toggleconsole"

Replace F12 with whichever key you prefer.
