Internet probelms so frustrating HELP!!

ok so every so often my internet just disconectes for about 20-30 seconds then comes back on i use a moden and a router and connected by a ethernet cable. i have no idea wats wrong i changed routers and modems didnt fix the problem my room is pretty far away but i doubt that is the problem with the ethernet cable.at my old house i never got disconeted so im thinking it could be the phone jack problem.do you guys have any sugestions on how i could know if any wires are messed up? pleasee help

Are you losing connection just to the internet, or to the router?

Even though the distance shouldn't be a problem, the cable could be damaged. Bent/Pinched/Cut etc

post more detailed info like router brand and maybe model what service ur using such things like that and makes it alot easier to help !!!

well the problem is my router or modem its my phone cables and stuff im 99% sure but do you guys know a way i can have them checkd to see if they all work and stuff like call the phone company and ask them to do wat?

its simple dude u just got to watch em when ur gaming or so.... if they turn off (both) or lose signal (modem) .... let me know ill be glad to help u out

well my modem is always blinking were it says ethernet/acticity

are you sure it's not your ethernet port?

and its my modem all the lights turn off then on
