Totally describes PCs vs. Macs. The Mac cannot be upgraded, but looks shiny. The PC can be upgraded, but looks less shiny. For me, the only mac I have used is one from the early 80s at school, but from what I have heard from my friends is that macs are crap.

Ok, either you are from the era where vacuum tubes were used, or you are an uber nerd. Given everything else I've seen, I'll guess at option 2. Vacuum tubes are awesome though! And they led to the first computer "bug"! Got to love something that can be shorted out by a random insect!

that a misconception Mac Pro's can be upgraded to have duel quads 32gb's of ram and 8tb of drive space with 4 geforce 9800'gtx's in SLI.

yes the company is really overbearing and controlling but they completely own there target market which is the media industry almost the whole music industry uses Pro Tools HD on Mac Pros, and more than half of video production is done on Mac Pros with Avid or Final Cut. and there are secure and stable and don't use a horrible file-system.

and im not being all fanboyish cuase i know that comment will come

my main OS of choice is SuSE Linux and at work we run all Mac Pros and Mac Book Pros Running OS X and SuSE Linux and at home i have all computers i built that Run SuSE Linux and Windows.

SuSE linux? Meh, one of my professors swore on that distro and it took like a day to set that up on the campus network because the network settings wouldn't hold.

I prefer Red Hat, but everyone laffs at other distros of linux if it is not their own, that's nix kids for ya...

Anyway, I'll choose an Apple Laptop over and other manufacturer laptop, any day.
