Adding favorites?!

Can anybody add server favorites? I keep trying to add the eGO servers to my favorites but it keeps saying waiting for data. I have let it sit there for 20 mins and came back and it was still like that? Is it the game or is it the servers? I havent tried adding any other servers. Maybe I'll try that.

Another concern of mine is bunny hopping. Are we going to allow this or not? I would say no. Its kind of cheap for one and is not realistic at all. That was one of my main gripes about BF2 was all the bunny hopping people did. The other was noob toobing which BC2 still has but thats part of the game play I suppose.

You could go into the server, visit the history tab, and try to add to favorites from there.

And for bunnyhop, I believe we do not have rules against it.

In my personal opinion, bunny hopping is just something you get used to overtime.

In BC2, if they try bunny hopping and you're aiming where you're supposed to be aiming, then you're still going to be nailing them with your bullets in the stomach/lower torso area, which is still normalized damage. Due to this, the only problems i see are user-based issues such as fps, lag, aiming issues, inexperience, etc... not meaning to sound offensive of course.

What i DO disagree with is killcam, i absolutely hate that thing and generally never snipe while it's turned on due to how simple it is for them to find you; even more so if you kill a squad member way behind enemy lines and they can watch where you go to hide at and tell people on vent afterwards and there's not a single thing you can do about it

And to your favorites problem, generally speaking EA's servers have been total crap, which is where the favorite servers list is updated/stored per soldier login; so if the servers on their side were acting up during your attempt to favorite something, it'll naturally cause you problems or time you out (which is what it sounds like it was doing?).

I only had problems trying to save the favorite servers on the 1st day that i bought the game. After that, i didnt seem to have any problems with adding/having them saved. EA seems to have a lot of defects with there servers though =/

yeah, EA's generally very unreliable server wise... Unfortunately it was the same in BF2142 when it came out. I think it's just whoever they're using as a server provider that's screwing them but they may not way to pay top dollar for better servers; or maybe the people running them are just bad? I dunno, i wish they'd fix it though

There's not really a fix for this, it's a fifty-fifty chance that it'll add servers to your favorites when you add them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. As for "bunny-hopping", it is allowed. Thread locked.
