Win For Macs

PC's have had it for the better part of a decade I would still consider this a loss...

but glad to see you can play finally nonetheless!

Yeah you are right, but seeing how something like 90% of the world uses PCS they probably thought PC was the market for them, and now that MACS are starting to get really Popular they made the investment to recode it in unix for mac. BTW I have been able to play on my mac using Crossover games its not the best but it works pretty well, and if I find a game that doesn't work right with it I can use windows 7.

Any way thanks for making me feel included lol

Mac has always had it's advantages over windows. People just aren't open to change

+A million lol

On a serious not when I was in elementary school, we had macs on like os8 os9 and well they sucked. Then When OSX came out I liked it but did not want to switch from my all powerful windows PC. Then When leopard came out, I wanted one. The ones at my school were awesome and vista was out so I was losing faith with windows(yes I was a PC only user at one point in time). Anyway I bough an Imac, then a 1 gen macbook pro, and now I have my current one below and an awesome Mac Pro with a quad core.

Yeah I'm pretty excited about it because even though I have a PC that I play all my games on, I use a Mac for school now and wouldn't mind popping up a game or two while in the library occasionally...

Honestly, I still like the custom-ability of PC's more than Macs and overall I still like PCs better, but the Mac has been better for school due to its portability and simpleness. Maybe I'll start liking my Mac a little more whenever I get the new OS (still running on Tiger at the moment)

Wanna know what held me back from buying an iMac? My family shares the pc, and all my mom & dads work stuff is on windows, so they insisted on it

.....

Well happy birthday.

This is kinda cool, because i have a bunch of mac friends that are missing the fun because of their "superior operating system", well now i guess they can play.

I'll just stick these Crossfired 5870s in my.... Oh wait! ;)

Just goes to show that Macs are becoming more popular! Personally, I am confused by having to click in the top left corner to close a window and love being able to mess around with hardware. But nothing against those who use Macs, they're good computers.

Until I can overclock Mac a decently, until I can get proper game support and until enough people switch over in multiplayer to make servers less empty

Maybe.

So long as Macintosh continues to give us apples with bites out of them, they will forever be second to PCs.

you can upgrade and overclock for work a use a mac pro with 2 quads and 3 geforce 9800gtx+'s in sli with 16gb ram.

and i can still add a fourth video card and an other 16gb of ram and got enough drive bays to add an other 2tb of drive space.

and the window controls in the top left do make more sense when working in most applications your cursor is most likely going to be in the top left quarter of your screen.

actully now that i think about ir i dont even use the close button at all i just tend to use command+w, command+q and command+m to take care of all the window control functions.

Cool, I never knew that. I'm running out of reasons to continue using my PC. ;)

ya mac pros are designed for audio and video work and are quite customizable and are pretty beefy to begin with

Too bad it always takes Apple like 10 years to get a new PC game, I think Halo just came out for mac like a few years ago...

Anyway, I could play TF2 while I am at work if these games come to Mac =)
