Pretty nice. I'd go for a bigger PSU and better video card though.

You could probably go up and get a Radeon 5850. Even if you don't a bigger power supply would be nice, don't want to skimp on a PSU.

Also, that proccesor is begging to be oc'd. So if you wan't you can also get a CPU cooler, or probably just oc on the stock for a lower clock.

But yeah, very nice rig.

If you ever want any advice on overclocking Razor, we're always in Vent :P

But, you said you wanted it to last a few years without any problems and I agree that a 5850 would be more future proof and thus the better buy.

and the case is ugly and too small. I know it's cheap, but don't skimp on the case. This case has not much to offer in terms of cooling, it will be cramped with all that stuff you're throwing in there, and it will probably run a little hot. Consider something like the Antec 900, solid design, great cooling. Also, if you're overclocking, consider an aftermarket air cooler. As GBear said, the PSU is kind of small. The important thing is really stable rails and not so much raw wattage, but consider at least 650-700W if you plan to expand or if you get a bigger case.

There's no such thing as too much power! Muahaha! :)

Also, as cases go, I'd suggest the Corsair Obsidian 800D. I promised myself when that thing came out, I'd buy it for my next build. Best looking case I've seen thus far on the market and extremely practical. Just a tad expensive on the down side but oh well. Go big or go home!

Gotta be environmentally friendly though :o

I'd personally suggest the following:

  • Choose either a ATI Radeon 5850 or 5870 -- While the 5770 is a great card, it may not last you very long and you may need to upgrade early next year if you want to run games on highest settings. Alternatively, buy two 5770's and run them in Crossfire.

  • Get 4GB of Ram instead of 8GB -- Buying 8GB is overkill, and not needed whatsoever, unless you use heavy multimedia programs (like Photoshop CS4, etc...). Most games only require 2GB for recommended system specs anyway.

  • Like others have stated, go for a better case. I personally recommend the CoolerMaster CM690 -- I've had it for almost two years, and it has been running strong and keeping my system very cool and well-ventilated

Also, make sure you get a 64-bit Windows 7 installed (not 32-bit).

Only reason i'm getting the 8GB is it was only $68 more for 4 more GB
I did change to the cool master.

Very understandable. In that case, I would go for the 8GB too.

Good choice with the CoolerMaster case -- I absolutely love mine.
