Hey so in my WoW alliance guild, we were looking at vent/teamspeak for communication, and I said I would look into it. Looking at the sites, I'm confused as to pricing, locations, etc. How does it work? Do we need to rent a server? if so, how much would we be looking at? (guild is around 300 members, fluctuates). Basically, can someone help summarize the sites better than the sites do themselves?

I think Teamspeak is free, but Vent is not... I'm not really sure though so don't go on my info too much

On Vent, you have to rent a server.
Most sites rent their servers in increments.
Examples:
15 slots might be 3.99 a month.
30 slots might be 5.99 a month.
60 slots might be 9.99 a month.
120 slots might be 14.99 a month.
500 slots might be 29.99 a month.
Slots are reserved for people. So if you have 10 people in your server, excluding you. It'll count as 10/50 and so forth.
So it's pretty simple, really.

Prices are usually a bit more expensive depending on where you rent from, Vent is much more reliable then TeamSpeak however
