You're getting there - the frame rate drops in the later half of the video.

Yea, it looks cool, but its a bit choppy and not great quality. But thats what tests are for!

Also, i think the colour correction was too dark.

Looks pretty good, but could use work with framerate and quality as others have said. Nice song choice by the way!

I tried messing with the smoothing one day.....I ended up getting really mad and deleted all the recorded stuff I had.

Anger is not fun.

GL with it, hoepfully one day I can try again.

xoxo same thing happened to me. months later i tried it and it just made sense. you should give it another try

Hmm, i need to do a video too. If i do it, i might upload it here for you guys to see and judge.

Sorry kotah, i might take over your thread but i hate, absolutely hate making new threads. I hope you will understand ;)

darth you are welcome to post anything you want in my threads its good for both of us because it bumps my thread gets me and you both more views and more feedback. i will edit the title of thread if thats possible too

Ok, heres my test video. I made it REALLY quick. Total time to complete was just over an hour. From remembering how to demo smooth... then a fail first attempt, to finding the demos... then recording and finally editing and uploading!

So yea, just keep in mind that i rushed this and its 11PM and im really tired so enjoy! Please leave comments/suggestions.

As i said... this was a quick job and in no means meant to be something serious. I didnt even record in my HD settings or video size.

Also... the reason why you never see me in tf2 is because i cant play on eGO servers without lagging like hell, getting annoyed and then quitting.

all of the above.

Oh, and as a suggestion, although it takes much longer and I don't know much about it you could use the TF2 built in thing to make demos into video files, the way they do it makes it so that no matter the graphics settings you use there is NO lag in the playback which is real nice (but as I said, it takes much longer to do). You could also play the demo at 50 percent speed, and speed it up during editing, mimicking recording at 2x the framerate you really did. Also on Fraps you can try the 'half size' option for recording videos, this typically increases framerate a bit.
