Secure Connection Failed.

Hey. I have not been active on the servers lately because CS:S Is giving me troubles and I get kicked every two minutes or so. It says Secure connection to Steam VAC servers could not be made. I have no idea what is causing this and it is really getting annoying. I was asking around on vent and most told me don't even try re-installing CS:S Any help as always would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

No I am not. I did check out all the things on the steam support and none of them helped.

Lot's of reason for coming Secure Connection Failed error.
(1) (site) uses an invalid security certificate
(2) The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate has expired
(3) The certificate will not be valid until (date and time)

The only deviation would be the site referenced and the "certificate will not be valid until" date. Incidentally, the "will not be valid until" date is always a past date. This is happening whether I use Firefox 3.04 or the latest version of IE on Windows XP, and Firefox on Fedora 9 installed on the same machine.

If you get it most of the times you visit a known page, check your system clock, your date may be wrong, making your system think the certificate has wrong start-end dates.
