true furiosity, but i can say the same for mass effect 2.
ill say go for the one which you like best, most likely both, lawl.
they are both very good shooters. but bioshock 2, needless to say it was a good game, the mechanics, the guns, and the story is just wonderful. but it did not measure up to bioshock 1 (go ahead, kill me, i said it!) it didnt have the same impact as the first one, im not saying its not great, but it was good. im more of the story line type player, i always love a good story.

it didnt have the great effect as bioshock, like when you went to see Andrew Ryan. when you find out you were being controlled and you have to go kill the sob that made you go around killing things as his little slave.
but the improvements they did on the game is amazing. graphic wise, not really an improvement, but now at least you can use your powers and gun at the same time, no more switching and praying to god that splicer wont come out of the shock before you can blow his head off.
did i mention the giant drill you get this time around? o yea, i guarantee you, that most of the game, you will be running and drilling splicers all around. sorry tf2 engi, but your wrench in bioshock has been replace with an awesome drill hand.
although the story didnt have as big as a impact it did in number 1, it still brings a tear to your eyes when you play it all the way. you just cant help feel a connection to the characters. and rather you want to kill all or save all, is really up to you. but one thing is for sure, there are some heart breaking moments in this game depending which way you play the game.
now to mass effect 2.
in every aspect, graphics, gameplay, sounds, and story, they just out did themselves this time.
there are multiple story beginnings and endings in this game. o yea, depending on if you want to import your files from me1, you can begin in different ways.
but lets start with the basic, the graphics, for some reason, me2 ran BETTER on my computer then me1. dont ask me how, i just read my cpu reports and listen to my computer.
it is by far, one of the best looking games out there right now. the lighting, the people. the cities and landscape is just far to amazing to explain. you can notice little details that separates this game from others.
the battle mechanics is simplified, but i kind of like this better then before. i like the duck and cover system, and also the guns, the freaking mini nuke gun. its pretty much what it sounds like.
there is a hell lot more things that make mass effect 2 so awesome. you have to play it yourself to find out really.
i can say, bioware really listened to the players feedback of what they should do in me2. you can really tell right when you begin the game.
me2 came out in the beginning of the year, but i can honestly say, this game will run for game of the year, and maybe a good chance to win too.
so lastly, ill say really go for mass effect 2, it also has the same sad and he artful moments bioshock 2 has. but it has more to offer then bioshock. i think i played me2 like 3 times now? bioshock? pretty much once. and then dropped it.
so, mass effect 2 is where my vote goes too. and also, its more fun then bioshock 2, especially on the pc XD
