I thought I'd tell you how I gather up a lot of Dog tags on one of my favorite maps, Isla Inocentes!
As an Attacker, there's several paths you can take to each the island. You could get in a helicopter and parachute out, but you best watch out for the propeller! You could take a boat, but it makes you quite visible for MG's and snipers. My best way is to follow the main road down, running through the bushes. I usually run down under the broken bridge and up to the first house. Go back around the fence on the right side of the island, and from there take everybody down from the back! If you're fast, you couldalso ride one of the mini boats and ride around the left side of the island and go around to the path.
Defender - As a defender, you get some good chances to knife people if they are going to plant a charge. I usually go engineer and camp on the right side of the island, in front of the cemented wall. I choose engineer so I can also blow up boats the ride by. It is good to knife on that side because I find that if people plant at B, they go out behind the trees to the right. Perfect time to sneak up on them.
OUTPOST 2!!! - Here's the outpost 2 strategy for knifing!
Attackers - When you successfully destroy the first 2 M-COM Stations, a tank will appear at spawn. The tank is a good way to get to the second outpost easily. Drive the tank up to the street that crosses in front of the outpost. From there, I run down and hide in the farthest left building. Watch out for snipers and be on the watch for people that run down pass you. When it's clear, just go from house to house, it's pretty simple. Once I get to the right, I stay along the right side and just keep working up until you finally get behind the defenders.
Defenders - There is no strategic way of really knifing people as a defender in this outpost. I usually run to the left, and there's a liltte wooden shack place. I keep my eye on who runs in to the building where the M-COM Station "A" is at. Also, watch out the door of the little shack, people may run up past you. Just hiding in bushes or a house near an M-COM Station is really the easiest way here.
