Random is it? Well then...
They came knocking on my door,
Quite a crowd of rousing rabble,
And from slumber did I stir
At their unsated salutation.
I made a nervous navigation,
Through the corridors caroming,
And I felt with fumbling fingers
For the knob to still their knocking.
"Why did I stand so still and sullen,
While the wanderlust was wooing,
And the moonlight wove such wonder
That the road seemed strewn with silver?"
An inspection found them truthful,
So I cast off all my slumber
Left behind my cot and cottage
For the way and fine companions.
Weren't you happy as a king with Riley's daughter?
