Ok, so I am running on a Dual Core Laptop and I am enjoying it and all but I really miss having my desktop set-up and all so I was wondering if I could maybe connect a monitor to my laptop and sit my laptop where my pull out keyboard is. My laptop is a Vostro | 1720 dell and I think the model is well I dont know what the model is and next the power thing is the pull with the blue bit and its go to screws on each side so I just want to get your advice on this before I do anything. Thanks guys/girls.

according to this picture, and your laptop specs

you can attach a second monitor into the display port to the left of the Ethernet connection. Your monitor is most likely plug and play, so just plug it in and set up dual monitors through your video card control panel.
