Who recruited YOU into EdgeGamers?

Google brought me here and my experiences on the COD: WaW Free-For-All server made me join on my own. It's nice to be able to play a game and have a good time without a bunch of screaming children giving a running commentary of the match. XBL ruined multiplayer gaming for me, eGO reminded me of what it use to be like.

i was referred to the site by seeing one of the notices on the jail server, I then went and posted my app and meatwad77 accepted my app so thanks again meatwad :D

Do I know you and I used to pro rebel in jail all the time way back when I was a little e and still in the TF2 division :)

Sadly, no one recruited me. I was just playing around on the servers, and I asked myself this question: "Since, I play here so much, why not join eGO?" and thus I joined EdgeGamers.
Kind of same as this :P

If I remember right it was masterofpuppets who invited me to the eGO steam group when I was roaming around 2fort. Week later I made an app and TenGHz accepted it. If I knew what ping was then I might of joined a UK server, so I'm actually here because I didn't have a clue about anything technical :D

No one really recruited me persay, but I believe that my new friends JunK and FartVaders are the ones that really helped persuade me to stay.

I enjoy meeting all the members of the CS:S division in Ventrilo and in-game :)

So I had just gotten TF2 (for Christmas, as I recall) and had been popping around different servers, searching for places I could hang out. When I played lots of CS:S, I'd found a couple of servers where people weren't complete jerks, and hoped for at least the same from TF2.

I saw a map called "Lazytown" was available, and decided to give it a go. I liked the map, and hung around. While I was playing, some dude (alas, I forget the names) was working really hard at recruiting another player, and I saw the eGO website address pop up several times in chat. I finally decided to come by, and figured I'd sign up and give it a go. GardenGroveVW approved my app, and I was off and playing.

When I really felt like a member of the community, however, was when xRomanticDeathx, who is no longer around, chided me for complaining about losing in a PM. It was something along the lines of, "we expect eGO members to adhere to a higher standard." After that, I felt like I had an extended (if cartoonish) family, and was hooked.

(Yes, I know. TL:DR)

I recruited myself actually. eGO Office was acutally the 1st server i ever played CSS on. Anyways, The way it happened, was, I had been playing the server for a while, and one day i was curious about the tag, so i just put it on. I then got kicked from one of our servers for having my name be =(eGO)=? reflex99. I was new to PC gaming, so i had no idea what a clan was, so i just picked the best looking tag on the server... I got all these people telling me to go to some "edgegamers.org" site so i did, and signed up. 15 months later, and here i am.

After a really long hiatus of no CSS, I jumped on to see my favorite Hosties server was gone. I looked for Hosties servers and came across this game called jail, it happened to be an eGO server, and it was a match made in heaven, Pureblood finally convinced me to apply to the community, and here I are.

i've been playing css for 4 years and for like 2 years i would go onto the eGO severs every so often and found them super populated each time, and eventaully i came to love eGO's punk free gaming attitude and i decided to join, and Frank The Tank showed me the way!

THANKS FRANK THE TANK <3
