I use Recon the entire time but I never snipe!

Just wanted to let you know, Recon is the best class for short-mid range combat as well as distance. Whip out your M95, put a red dot on it, and with magnum, it is usually a 1 shot to the body (depending on range). Its really fun to use, and pretty easy too. I do the same thing with the VSS and SVU (SVU is by far my favorite gun in the game) although you run out of ammo really quickly.

How do you work with the SVU???

It has so much recoil cant do anything with it!

I find it good because you can easily headshot someone (1 or 2 quick click in the head) or kill someone (usually 3 in the chest). The problem with regular snipers on NM are that ,unless in the head, they're 2 shot kills, and since they are bolt-action, you easily get killed..

Well, until I get the M14, this is what I'm doing. I've always liked semi-auto rifles, so the SVU is naturally one of my favorites.

I unlocked the 14x and I was having a hell of a time sniping across the map. That was AMAZING just adjusting bullet drop and all of that. Felt SO real.

But I do recon and do some close range lyrical combat with the 4x'd M25(or whatever the starter sniper is) or a Shotty to clear off a bomb and defuse it. Plus, C4 is pretty win at times.

Recon isn't just sniping, and it is good that people realize that. Good on ya for being innovative and helping out Art, and everyone for that matter. You guys help make this game fun.

why would you use magnum ammo with an m95 on hardcore mode? it is a one shot kill either way...

Heh. All I usually just sit on a hill of a rush map and snipe like 30-40 different snipers and, when we arm the bomb I can kill anyone that messes with it pretty easily.
