Which of the rifles do you guys think is the best? I personally do not like burst-weapons, because I can burst myself. However, I do know that the AN94 is the best rifle statistically - I am just horrid at using it and I may need more practice.

I currently prefer the XM8 Prototype. It's accurate, does decent damage, and the fire-rate is pretty good - compared to the H&K 416 (M416), well, why bother putting that gun in? AUG is too inaccurate for me, and I don't even bother with the F2000.

What are your thoughts on some of these rifles available for the Assault kit, and which one is your favourite?

I haven't used all of them but out of the ones I used I like the M16A2 because of it's power and accuracy.
 
I don't have them all but I prefer XM8 at the moment, much better compared to the AEK and MUCH better compared to the F2000. At least in my opinion. <3 Assault.
 
I prefer the AUG.

Don't know why, just do alot more kills with that one than with XM8.
 
I like to switch around between all the guns I have available just to keep things interesting, but lately I have been using the M16A2 the most. I like it's range and accuracy, though I feel it suffers in a close range fight compared to the AN94.

I've been waiting to try out the G3 when I reach the unlock level, anybody else have anything to say about it?
 
I like the AN the best. Really you can just fire it as fast as an automatic, it just has the accuracy and damage of a burst gun. Weapon stats wise (actually numerical data of damage, fire rate, and kick) it is the best gun in the game.

I got to try out the M16 sometime. However, I don't think it's good in CQC because of its burst mode. It would be good in large open areas though. Currently, I switch in between XM8 Prototype iron sight (I LOVE this weapon), and AN-94 with a Red dot or 4x ACOG scope (I hate the AN-94's iron sight.

G3, I've heard is pretty strong, but difficult to use. What are the prerequisites to unlock it?
 
Arrgghh!!! new and conflicting weapons data. Spray previously posted some weapons data which can be found here. But the data doesn't match the data that Kunai has linked.
 
XM8 just because it's all I got.

I assume i'll get the burst fire one once I unlock it.

Use it in hardcore, it massacares the opposition.
In regular its still pretty good.
Use it like a single semi-auto rifle and its really easy.

Personally i equip it to my none assault class's when i want an assault rifle.
I highly recommend it.

Now then concerning the poll: Why isnt grenade launcher a choice?
Since thats all i ever seen any assault using.
 
I haven't played that game MUCH, but I took a shot from the XM8 and I already prefer it over the AEK... mainly cus the sights on the AEK are massive and look like retarded tweezers, and being in the military, I shake my fist at that :P
