little help with pics from kill bars

ok ive decided 2 make a sig with some pictures i took. But i only need the kill bars ive already started cutting out the kill bars from some of my pics. But 4 some reason some of the kill bars looks realy crappy. And i can barely see the names of my victims. In case its something i do in the process of cutting the killbars out of the pic. Im going 2 write how i did it.

1. I pressed the button print screen

2. I went 2 word right clicked and pasted it in 2 word and now the pic looks like crap (

3. Then i right clicked at the pic and copied it

4. I paste it in 2 paint and and cute the killbar out

5. Then i copy the killbar i just cut out and move it in with al my other but ugly killbars

Now my question is what am i doing wrong ? and what can be done 2 fix it ?. Do i need 2 delete all my killbars and start over and do it some other way. Or can i do something 2 the killbars ive been cutting out because i really want 2 save them somehow. Now think hard this is many hours of stalking particular persons. :-D And i would really hate 2 have 2 delete all my hard work ( .......... And if it helps ive saved all the original files when ive pasted them in 2 word.

By the way can't you just paste it directly into Paint?

Why are you copying it too word? That most likely your problem? Copy them to some photo software.

or take a screen shot...dont click the print screen click F5 this will take a screen shot

yes then you go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ACCOUNT\day of defeat source\dod\screenshots to find them
