Hey everyone,
The Jailbreak rules have been updated and moved back onto the forums. For those of you that were unaware the rules were previously moved onto an external document. This was unpopular among Leadership, Admins and Members for many different reasons I will not go into. This is mainly just a rewording and restructuring of our current ruleset. For transparency this was also an attempt to make the rulebook easier to understand for newer players. As now every single section offers explanations on certain parts of the game. However, there are some changes you should review if you play Jailbreak often.
The rules around which games can be played and when have now been heavily simplified.
The first game may not be the first game from the previous round.,
The first game must be a map game.,
The first game may not be a Luck-Based game.,
The second game may not be a Custom Jump.,
Luck-Based games must provide at least a 25% chance of winning.,
No more than two Luck-Based games may be played per round.,
You may not play a game if it was already played previously during the round (Unless the prisoners opt in, in which it is considered an optional game),
The rules around pardons have also changed. Previously if the Warden died all non-rebelling Ts were automatically pardoned. This has been removed. The only way you are able to receive a pardon now is being directly pardoned by the Warden.
Other small rules like "Do not kill for extremely small mouse movements on AFK freeze" and "Do not be overly toxic" have been removed due to those items being hard to quantify.
These changes go into effect immediately
If you have any questions, concerns or feel like something is missing. Feel free to reach out to an Admin.
(The TTT, Dust2 and Surf rules have not changed)
We have also polished the CS Information Center thread. It is now has up to date information. Thank you to
frio
for making the images for both the Rules and the Information Center! This also means the FAQ had some slight tweaking to make sure it no longer conflicts with our new ruleset.
