new FBG update ( possible )

FBG recently did the poll about the x-ray anti cheat thing.
YES!!!!!!
This will allow material wallhackers to be caught.
It basicly downloads it to your comp ( when u join a server with it on ) and randomly takes pics. Then when u leave it uploads them and the admins look and the best thing about it is the pic is what is on your screen!

Yeah, I agree. At least they should take a short demo... But who knows, this could work.

I am totally not cool with that type of update.

A program that takes pics of whats going on, on my screen? Sure, excellent tool to catch hackers, but do I really need to be treated like a criminal even though I'm legit?

For KR its not just taking pictures, a wallhacker can see through the wall and if pictures are taken FROM his computer and uploaded it will show models through the walls if he is walling and it will not if he is not walling.

I do not endorse this idea. I barely trust anything i am to download myself, let alone a program that claims to be an anti-cheat program that automatically downloads and deletes itself everytime i play an FBG enabled server. I will seriously consider deleting FBG or not playing FBG servers if this is added. And no i do not wallhack, my terrible scores show that

well it is a well known anti cheat plugin that most league and scrim servers use


I endorse its use on the scrim servers for the battles, but for a regular server? That should be left up to the owners to add themselves

yea me too.
I think they shoudnt make it mandatory for FBG though.
It could be detected as spyware everytime u join the server and that will be annoying

I haven't tried it yet, but I might consider it for myself. We are not requiring you to use it right now because I don't think it's mandatory for FBG. We want to keep you around on our FBG Clan Page, so don't delete your profile if you decide to quit FBG. It's utimately your choice on whether you want to do this or not. None of us are forcing you to Download it.

Not from Steam, its from FBG. I'm not saying it could happen, but there's always the possibility of something like this being used maliciously.

You're right in a way. XAC could potentially take and upload screenshots of Steam chat. You could remove the screenshots by reporting them, but it usually takes time and it sounds like a real hassle. And while I would never talk about anything really sensitive on Steam chat if I can help it, I'd still rather have some privacy if it ever happens.

True, but most hardcore players don't just drop everything and reply . I do that, Becuase I care about my friends more then a game. But Moose is KIND of right. I always use a different window(Since I play ALL my games window mode. WIN) to chat.
