For competetive the pain train will be very useful..

Maaaaaybe for Demos, since they get owned by Scouts regardless, but I don't see Soldiers willing to take more bullet damage for better caps, especially roaming Soldiers.

a demo with the with a speed buff from heads wont mind but a solly needs all of his health and cant take extra damage, the whole point of a solly is that he can take a lot of damage and put out a lot of splash damage.

You can only get heads while holding the Eyelander (i.e. not holding the Pain Train), but the rest is true. This seems like a good alternative melee for comp Demos, but not for the Soldiers.
