This is the first TF2 mod that I've seen that really pushes the envelope. It changed TF2 into a 2D platformer with all the classes. Each class has a special ability to get through various obstacles. Theres a video on the page

its fully possible with in-game console commands and some fancy mapping, I did some experiments with third person side scrollers in Source when I first started mapping.
