Wouldn't that technique get a little hard to pull off if the other guy moved too? And I agree with ChocolateVillain, I think it's not as hard a shot to make if you stand still right when you shoot.

I know what she's talking about, it's harder to explain than do. With dynamic crosshairs you start to get a feel for where your shot lands, even when they're spread. So, with garand for me, I'm usually moving side to side shooting at the guy. You just get used to it.

K98 I will pause more often than not, but every pause is an opening for your enemy.

In Descent it's called circle strafe. Side step left or right while using your mouse to keep on target.

I miss descent. Watching the explosion as Bones leaves a weapon cloud of goodies behind for me to gather. I really miss Descent.

if you see something shoot it...but all kidding aside being quick to crouch and aim your rifle makes you lethal at a distance...and if you use it right close quarters

go with the smallest crosshair size and make it a color that stands out for u run until u see a target stand still for maybe half a sec or lil less the put dot on target and fire doesnt always work but its the best advice i got for rifle

Semper the reason it doesn't always work is why I used a dynamic crosshair. When you're strafing, coming out of run, or even shooting while moving at all you'll notice your crosshairs spread apart. As such, your accuracy is lessened. Granted, nowadays I can use pretty much any crosshair since I've played so much more rifle than anything else, but dynamic lets you see just how still you really are on that shot. It's not instantaneous. That's the only reason I've recommended learning to shoot while moving, eventually you get a feel for the inaccuracy, and then shooting from a still position is even easier if you ever need to use it.

in my honest opinion and experience in being in realism clans that require me to use only the rifle for months, just use it all day everyday for a few weeks you will get the hang of it. and i find crosshair 1 works well with the kar and crosshair 6 works well with the garand. and with the garand do a lot of dancing and shooting.
