Heavy MG Shield?

What is the deal with this shield? It looks as if you are supposed to be able to see through the area that is a different color but it is pure black for me. I know this is the same for my friend, so does this mean they actually designed it so you can not see through it?

He means when you use the heavy MG's in some maps that have shield to protect them from fire i think one map that has then is the Artica Harbor map (think thats how u spell it) And as for not being able to see through it? May be a ingame bug for a problem with your graphics card?

Same , it seem the view is higher so you only see the ground , like your head is 10 feets higher than your body. Happen to all maps , seems a game problem.

It's a glitch for people with DX 9. It's really annoying and I can't wait until it's fixed.

I can somewhat see the players head through it. But a perfect headshot with a Scout doesn't hit them at all.

ah, i thought the shield thing was positioned wrong on the heavy mg thats why i couldnt see through it

ditto, if its a DX9 glitch maybe I'll go back to DX10, I went to 9 for better performance while recording.
