I will be out in the blizzardy, cold and wet field for the next week sleeping in the back of an ML - fun!

wow that sounds terrible. We just got hit this weekend with our first snow fall...Now about an inch thick sheet of ice fell on the entire city too...Ill be weathering like you for a bit i guess. Good luck to the both of us!

ML is a Medlium Light transport/gun tow vehicle we use in the RCA.

and yes, it was f'ing cold but we got the job done as always and now we go back out for the weekend on mortars, it never ends!

The ML sleeps 7-8 in the back. If you google it then you'll see the back end all tarped, that's where we sleep. We use a kerosene heater most of the day so we have an escape from the cold.

I'm a driver/mortars for the weekend so it'll be fun.

Yeah we were these boots called Mukluks, they're kind of like Sorells winter boots.

Lifting 70lb rounds all the time, moving a 2tonne gun around and digging spade holes in frozen ground tends to keep you warm though.
