I have 680i evga mobo, 2 gigs ram, e8400 intel dual core 3.0, 4TB HDD, 750W power supply, 22" monitor, fatality sound card and 8800gt vid card. I am having trouble deciding what I want to get or upgrade next.
Heres the list of things I WANT but dont know if I should get what I need...

New ram 4 gigs NEED
Second monitor Want
New vid card NEED
New headset Want

I really dont have a price set I want to spend either, obviously Im going to spend more on a vid card over a headset.. I just want to limit myself to one item so I dont go out and blow my money... Any suggestions what would you upgrade first.

The GPU and CPU are fine for now. An extra 2GB's of ram would probably be the best buy. Make sure you have a 64bit OS though.

Just wait until Thursday for Fermi to come out, then prices will drop for GPU's.
And if I were you, since you have no specific budget, I'd update the whole system with DDR3 and 1156 or maybe even 1366.

But of the things you listed, it seems as if 2 more gb of ram would do the best, along side a new graphics card.

you could get a second 8800GT (9800GT) and SLI them...

That would be my 1st move

Get the RAM, it will let you multitask WAY more. And with that system, you better be multitasking!

Why in the world would you need 4TB of space? Good lord. Should've gotten a better video card or more memory. I have 1TB, and that's all I'll ever need.

Honestly, I'd say to get another 8800, or just get a 200 series. No need in getting a second monitor if you gpu can't put out high quality on both.

1) he probably does video editing or something like that, uncompressed videos take up space fast.

2) I would wait to buy a 200 series as Femi is launching in a matter of days, and the 200 series will probably get a massive price drop.
